Buckden Walk

The Fern Club is heading outdoors, this time for a family day. We’re heading out to the Yorkshire Dales for a walk along the river from Buckden to Starbotton. A chance for families to come together and let the littles run wild. The route in total is 4 miles (2 miles there and 2 miles back), it’s relatively flat with a stop half way.
There’s a bail out at 2 miles if little legs are getting tired, there’ll need to be a few cars ready to collect if needs be. This will be organised a little closer to the time.
It takes between 1-1.5hrs one way depending on speed of little legs, how many drink breaks, exploring hands, bird watching, wee stops etc.

There’ll be a little activity for the children on route, booking is essential so I’m able to provide for all the children (and big adult kids too.)

There’s plenty of grass space on the trail for a lunch break and drinks.
